Professor Rachael Morton is an Academic Health Economist and International Leader in the economic evaluation of melanoma diagnosis and treatment at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney and faculty member at the Melanoma Institute Australia. Rachael’s economic modelling research is used to guide practice and policy change on the basis of patient benefit and cost-effectiveness. She is a chief investigator on several NHMRC and MRFF grants examining the economics of melanoma. Her research has had major influence on international clinical practice guidelines across UK, US, Germany, Brazil and Australia.
